Sor Isabel de Villena

I have presented in several conferences on the work of Sor Isabel de Villena. I am currently working on an article that explores parallel themes between her Vita Christi and Medieval Valencian art.

Moros i Cristians

I have conducted field research on the topic of Moros i Cristians and the representations of the Orientalized Other. I have also presented on this topic and have included elements of this research in my upper-division courses such as Religion in Early Spain or Culture and Civilization of Spain.

Medical Spanish / Medical Translation

I am new to the field of Medical Spanish and Medical Translation, but I have already presented on these topics at conferences such as ACTFL and AATSP. I plan to continue exploring teaching methods for these specific areas in the advanced language classroom.
