Graduate Awards & Scholarships

Graduate Awards

Each spring the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences faculty meets to determine which students will be awarded departmental awards among their graduating class.  The following are the awards that are given out.

♦ Sigma Gamma Epsilon, W.A. Tarr Award: This award is voted upon by active members of the department's Sigma Gamma Epsilon, Eta Gamma Chapter and ratified by the department faculty. A certificate is sent from the national Sigma Gamma Epsilon office, for presentation to the awardee.
