High School Senior Checklist

  • Complete the “Status Switch”

Complete the Status Switch to move from Early College to Standard student status. By doing this, you will be able to declare your major and qualify for scholarships and other financial aid opportunities available at WSU next fall. Search for the “Status Switch” app in your eWeber portal and complete the short questionnaire to complete this process.

  • Schedule your graduation sign-off appointment if you plan to graduate with your associate’s degree before high school graduation

Meet with your Early College advisor at the beginning of your final semester to verify you have completed all the graduation requirements.

  • Complete the WSU Financial Aid & Scholarship Application

Complete this application found in your eWeber portal to apply for any university-wide scholarships where you meet the criteria. The application opens on September 1 and must be completed every year. To qualify for federal financial aid, you must also fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). FAFSA opens October 1 and must be completed every year.   • Schedule an appointment with your college advisor

Meet with your college advisor to learn about specific requirements for your major. You can find the full list of WSU academic advisors at weber.edu/advisors.

  • Register for Foundations of College Success (UNIV 1105)

Take this First Year Experience course (if you have not already) to learn helpful skills such as time management, note taking, critical thinking, test taking, career exploration, and much more! UNIV 1105 is a 3-credit hour, elective course offered at both the Ogden and Davis campuses. For more information about this course, visit weber.edu/fye.

  • Apply for the New Century Scholarship (if applicable)
