Maximize Savings With Post Concurrent Enrollment Scholarships

Español

Did you know that participating in Concurrent Enrollment can save tens of thousands of dollars? A single concurrent enrollment class costs an average of just $15, compared to over $1,000 for the same course at a university. This incredible saving starts in high school but doesn't have to end there.

By excelling in Concurrent Enrollment classes and planning ahead, you can extend these financial benefits into college. With the scholarships below, you could save UP TO HALF on tuition and fees at Weber State University (WSU) while completing your bachelor's degree. Explore the following scholarships to see how you can continue to benefit from your hard work.

Weber State University EDGE Scholarship

The Concurrent Enrollment (CE) EDGE Scholarship is offered to eligible concurrent enrollment students who become full-time students at Weber State University after graduating high school. Students must meet the requirements listed below in order to receive the scholarship.

Scholarship awardees receive a $2,000 college tuition waiver each year for four years ($1,000 per semester for eight semesters).

Eligibility Requirements

  • Complete a minimum of 9 credit hours of concurrent enrollment courses from any combination of participating Utah institutions.

If any courses were completed outside WSU, students must submit official transcripts and contact the WSU Scholarship Office for consideration.

  • Earn a minimum 3.0 (B) cumulative GPA on all concurrent enrollment coursework.
  • All concurrent enrollment coursework must be completed no later than high school graduation of senior year.
  • All concurrent enrollment coursework must be verified by the WSU Financial Aid & Scholarship Office prior to any scholarship disbursement.
  • Students must be a Utah resident and a U.S. Citizen.
  • Students must enroll in 12-18 WSU credit hours per semester and maintain a 2.5 WSU GPA to retain scholarship eligibility.

Application Process

1. Complete the Confirmation of Interest Form

Every high school senior in the Davis, Morgan, Ogden and Weber School Districts is automatically admitted through the direct admissions process. Those students will receive an official admission letter in the mail. Fill out the confirmation of interest form and select Weber State.

If you participated in Concurrent Enrollment (CE) and are a student in the Davis, Morgan, Ogden and Weber School Districts, DO NOT complete the "Status Switch" process. Instead, complete the confirmation of interest form mentioned above. Only seniors outside of the mentioned school districts or those not eligible for direct admission who participated in Concurrent Enrollment may still utilize the "Status Switch" process found in the eWeber portal. Concurrent Enrollment students do NOT need to apply for admission to WSU again.

2. Complete the Scholarship Universe Application

Students are encouraged to complete the Scholarship Universe Application in the eWeber portal. This will allow you to be eligible for more WSU scholarships and have access to thousands of national scholarship opportunities.

Students will be notified if they have been selected for the scholarship in late spring or early summer via their Weber State email.

This scholarship cannot be combined with any other WSU academic scholarship.
