Cultural Connections

Cultural Connections works to collaborate with our ethnic-based organizations, as well as, organizations that want to collaborate to promote and educate around issues on diversity and inclusivity. Previous collaborative events have included Dia de Los Muertos, Pow Wow 101, and a Black Lives Matter Panel.

Latinx Game Night
Tuesday, September 17 | 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

A fun night filled with Latinx/Hispanic games to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. There will be games such as Loteria and we will be able to have fun and learn a little more about Latinx culture.

Allyship for the dis-ABLEd Community
Tuesday, October 15 | 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.

We will be having a panel of diverse people who identify as part of the disabled community as well as chat with an expert. The goal of this workshop is to learn how we can work towards being better allies for the disabled community.

A Taste of Culture
Tuesday, November 12 | 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

We will have an amazing time learning, experiencing, and tasting food from diverse cultures at Weber State. Come on out and help celebrate Weber State’s diversity!
