The Summer Digital Development Series (SDDS) completed its 4th year helping Weber State employees sharpen their digital skills. Launched in 2023 to enhance digital fluency, the SDDS has grown from a staff-focused initiative into a comprehensive professional development event for all Weber State employees.
Running mid-May through early August, the SDDS offers a diverse curriculum of technology and productivity-based classes held every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Whether a beginner or an advanced user, this series is designed to help streamline workflow, improve institutional outcomes, and empower we provide a premier student experience. 2026 marked our most ambitious schedule to date, featuring 37 unique classes and over 60 total sessions—with a special emphasis on AI tools, accessibility, creativity, data literacy, and productivity skills. The attendance for 2026 was record-breaking with over 675 attendees!
