Interested in teaching, now or in the distant future? Maybe another education role? Not sure?

Come talk with us! Even if you don't have a typical teaching major, you can still pursue your qualifications and license as an educator.

Science and math teaching can be a rewarding and enjoyable career for anyone with a passion for science and learning.

Meet with Adam Johnston, CSME Director and our general science teaching advisor, for advice on which paths might be available to you. These include:

  • Science and Math Teaching Majors
  • Endorsements in science and math teaching to accompany a Graduate Certificate of Teaching.
  • Ways to incorporate education coursework, experience, or research into your current program of study.
  • Other opportunities for you through community engagement and outreach.

Meet with C. David Walters, Math Teaching advisor, to talk about math teaching pathways and endorsements at all levels.

The Propel Scholars program provides classroom experiences and scholarship funds to promote teaching to STEM majors of all kinds.
