Weber State University’s Pre-Professional Physical Therapy (PT) allows you to prepare for postgraduate studies in a pre-medical professional program. PT students can select a major in any discipline (such as Athletic Training, Exercise Science or Nutrition, or Health Promotion) and integrate courses that medical schools require of undergraduates for your specific pre-professional program.

Choose Your Math & English Path
- Begin with math and English courses your first semester and continue each semester until the general education requirement is complete. You can find your math and English placements in CatTracks.

Balance = Success
- Taking more than two science courses (math included) in a semester may be overwhelming. Balance your course load with general education requirements.
- Medical Terminology (HTHS 1101) is highly recommended before your first course in anatomy and physiology.
