Early Childhood

Our Early Childhood program teaches you principles, theories and developmentally appropriate practices for a career educating young children. Graduates go on to a wide range of careers in child care licensing, social services, preschools and more.

Mission Statement: The mission of the EC and ECE Programs at Weber State University is to provide a comprehensive curriculum that enables candidates to seek employment in the field of Early Childhood Education, working with children and their families from diverse backgrounds through knowledge gain, skill development, and applied practice.
