Extended Day Options

“Extended day is not run, or sponsored by the WSU Charter Academy.”

Extended Day (before and after care) will be available onsite for WSU Charter Academy students through the Melba S. Lehner Children’s School in the McKay Education Building on WSU campus. For more information and cost, contact Sally (801-626-6277) or visit weber.edu/childrensschool.

Morning kindergarten hours are 8:30 am to 11:30 am Monday through Thursday and 8:30 am – 10:30 am on Friday.

Afternoon kindergarten hours are 12:30 pm -3:30 pm Monday through Thursday and 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm on Friday.

The WSU Charter Academy is not legally responsible for students before they arrive at school or after they have left the school.

For other options, contact Care About Childcare (801-626-7837). Customized referrals to state regulated child care will connect you with facilities that offer options for part time care and provide transportation to and from schools. While the referral service is free, it is your responsibility to arrange and pay for any necessary out of school care. Please visit the Care About Childcare website at weber.edu/cac.
