WSU Makes a Difference in Ogden City & Davis County

Join us for a full day of supporting multiple projects with Habitat for Humanity.

7 a.m. Orientation & Breakfast at Project Site

Morning Shift: 8 a.m. - Noon

Lunch will be provided

Afternoon Shift: 1-4 p.m.

Please select which project you would like to assist with and which shift you would like to attend (a minimum of two hours ). Orientation of these projects will be given at the site of the project. T-shirts will be provided to volunteers at the beginning of the project shift. Lunch will be provided at the project site for those leaving or arriving at noon. Please bring your own water bottle.

 

WSU individuals residing in both Ogden City and Davis County have the opportunity to take a break from their regular scheduled activities and assist in service in their communities. This event qualifies as Service Leave for benefit-eligible employees (PPM 3-66). This event is free and available to all WSU faculty, staff, students and alumni.

Habitat for Humanity Projects

Davis County - ReStore

859 W Hill Field Rd, Layton 

Morning Shift: 8 a.m. - Noon

The Davis County ReStore is a brand new home improvement thrift store in the Davis County area. Tasks will likely include dealing with stock and donations, organizing, sorting, or purging depending on the tasks. Volunteers must wear closed toed shoes, clothing you do not mind getting dirty, and work gloves of your own or provided by CCEL. Hats may be a good idea if the weather is such a way. If you choose to wear shorts, please have them at least at the knee. 

Ogden City - ReStore

3111 Wall Ave, Ogden

Morning Shift: 8 a.m. - Noon
Afternoon Shift: 1-4 p.m.

The ReStore is a home improvement thrift store. Tasks will likely include dealing with stock and donations, organizing, sorting, or purging depending on the tasks. Ogden City - Home Build

450 15th St, Ogden

Morning Shift: 8 a.m. - Noon
Afternoon Shift: 1-4 p.m.

Wear closed toed shoes, pants, hats, gloves (your own or provided by CCEL), clothing you do not mind getting dirty, and a water bottle.
