On-Campus Interviewing

Career Services offers six interview rooms available by appointment for employer-led interviews. Interviews can be requested online through Handshake. When requesting interviews, you may select to request only the room and coordinate the interview schedule on your own, or choose from one of Handshakes built-in options to allow students to sign up for interview times within Handshake. Our rooms can suit any recruiter’s needs and include the following features:

  • A waiting area for interviewees
  • Free Wi-Fi
  • Outlet plugs in every room
  • Access to our break room, which houses free drinks, a microwave, a toaster, a refrigerator, and more
  • Plenty of space to conduct interviews

Posting Flyers

Career Services does not have a place for the posting of employer flyers in our office. There are several bulletin boards in the Student Services and Shepherd Union buildings designated as open use where such materials could be posted.

Most bulletin boards in the academic college buildings require department permission prior to posting anything.

Booths on Campus

Another option for employers wishing to recruit students is a table in the Shepherd Union Building. To get the most out of your visit, book your booth during the regular school year when the most students are on campus and bring a prominent poster or banner. For pricing or to request a vendor table contact WSU Shepherd Union Scheduling. Note: Career Services is unable to sponsor vendor tables.
