Students Without a Valid SSN or TIN on File

If you have been directed to this page, it is likely that you have not provided a valid Social Security Number (SSN) or Federal Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) to Weber State University during your admission process.   Weber State University is required to have a valid Identification Number to properly report information to the IRS.

If you have made tuition or other payments to Weber State University during this calendar year, you may be eligible to receive IRS form 1098T and take advantage of Educational Benefits under IRS rules.  See Pub. 970, Tax Benefits for Education; Form 8863, Education Credits; and the Form 1040 or 1040A instructions for more information.

To submit your SSN or TIN, please download the IRS Form W9-s, Request for Student's or Borrower's Taxpayer Ifentification Number and Certification.  Please fill out the form and return to:
