Scholarships
Follow these steps to apply for scholarships in the Department of Construction & Building Sciences:
- Apply to Weber State University.
- Fill out the WSU Financial Aid and Scholarship Application online.
- Complete FAFSA application for need-based scholarships.
- Fill out any of the following scholarship opportunities:

Incoming CBS Freshman Scholarship

- Facilities Management

Ivory Foundation Construction & Building Sciences Pathway Scholarship
Did you take courses in Construction, Architectural CAD, or Interior Design in High School? Apply for the UAEC Pathways scholarship for $2,000 annually for up $8,000.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Participated in one of Utah's Architecture, Engineering, and Construction Pathway Tracks in the past 2 years
- Planning to attend Weber State University with a declared major in the Construction & Building Sciences Department
- Committed to maintaining a 2.5-grade point average
- Committed to attending Seminar, Design-Build Day, and Evening with Industry
Preference will be given to students are:
- First Generation or
- Non-traditional or
- Active or retired military
- Completers of any track within the UAEC pathway
Recipients may use the award for tuition, fees and other educational expenses. If the scholarship award amounts, when combined with other sources of scholarships and financial aid, exceed tuition and fees, the student may receive a residual disbursement for the remainder of the award.
Complete the Ivory Foundation Construction and Building Sciences Pathway Scholarship Application.
Recipients who graduate with an associate's of applied science degree can apply for the $2,000 graduation bonus.
Recipients who graduate with a bachelor's degree can apply for the $4,000 graduation bonus.
Concurrent Enrollment Edge Scholarship
Eligibility will be determined when you apply for WSU Financial Aid and Scholarships in step 2.
Departmental Scholarship
The AGC Education and Research Foundation, founded in 1968, has for more than 50 years made good on its commitment to support the future of our industry through its robust scholarship program and innovative projects. The AGC Education and Research Foundation offers undergraduate and graduate level scholarships to students enrolled in ABET or ACCE accredited construction management or construction-related engineering programs.

AGC of Utah Scholarships

The Chairish ‘Design Your Future’ Scholarship ($2,500)
- Open to graduating high school seniors, college undergraduates, and graduate students of any major
- Students are asked to submit a 500-word essay designing their ideal future and their plans to achieve that dream
- Minimum 3.0/4.0 cumulative GPA required
- Students must be enrolled or planning to enroll at an accredited 2-year, 4-year, or vocational/technical college or university in the U.S.
NAWIC Founders Scholarship Foundation
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a construction-related degree program at a college or university in the United States and must have at least one term remaining in a course of study leading to a degree or an associate degree in a construction-related field.
