Discrimination and Clery Act Notices
The following are notifications required by the Civil Rights law and the Clery Act to be distributed by the University in various materials. You will need to look at the type and purpose of your material in order to determine which language needs to be included. Though we cannot dictate specific size or font, all notices must be clearly legible. Use your best judgement.
Language to be prominently displayed on the website, on social media, at various locations throughout campus, and in electronic and printed publications for general distribution, including all catalogs, bulletins, announcements, recruitment materials, or application forms:
WSU does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, pregnancy, genetics, age (over 40), disability, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, veteran, active military status, and other classifications protected by law in its programs and activities. Information is available from, and discrimination and harassment complaints may be filed with, the Executive Director of AA/EO, AA-EO@weber.edu, MA 101, or 801-626- 6239.
If the materials described above are directed toward secondary education audiences, the verbiage must be translated into Spanish:
WSU prohíbe la discriminación contra los estudiantes, los empleados, los aspirantes y los visitantes en base a raza, color, nacionalidad, embarazo, genética, edad (más de 40), discapacidad, religión, sexo, orientación sexual, identidad/expresión de género, ser veterano, estado militar activo y otras clasificaciones protegidas por la ley.
