Instructions to Activate Tuition Benefits
To activate tuition benefits for a spouse and/or dependents:

Step 1
Spouses and dependents must first be admitted to Weber State and have an active W#.

Step 2
Verify your spouse and/or dependents’ information with Human Resources. This process only needs to be completed once.

Step 3
Activate the tuition benefit online via the Tuition Benefits Activator in your eWeber portal each semester for yourself, spouse and/or dependents if you wish to receive the benefit for that semester.
Spouse/Dependent Verification
To verify your spouse and/or dependents’ information, visit Human Resources in Miller Administration Building (Room 111) with the following information:

Dependent
- A copy of the dependent's birth certificate
- Social Security card
- The dependent's Weber W#
- The employee's Weber W#

Spouse
- A copy of the dependent's birth certificate
- Social Security card
- Valid government-issued identification with a date of birth
- The dependent's Weber W#
- The employee's Weber W#

Dependent Wildcards
A full-time employee's spouse and dependent(s) are eligible for a Wildcard. This will allow them to access the gym. Complete the Dependent Wildcard Form to activate this benefit for your dependents.
The form will alert our Benefits Coordinator who will verify your employment status and dependents and forward a Wildcard form with instructions to complete the process.
Only dependents of full-time faculty and staff are eligible for Wildcards.
USHE Employee Scholarship
Employees can apply for the Utah System of Higher Education Employee Scholarship.
The scholarship is open to employees of a USHE institution wishing to attend another USHE institution to pursue a credential related to their current job duties.
