Before the earthquake, the building where I have spent 30 years of my career was scheduled to be demolished in the summer of 2020, while our new building is being completed on the Weber State University - Davis Campus in Layton, Utah.

There were over 250 attendees at each of the two meetings. The topic was "Commercial truck vibration diagnosis" using the NVH app for smartphones and tablets. We worked with Allison Transmission to develop a quick, easy-to-use, accurate vibration diagnostic tool for the entire commercial truck and automotive industry.

- 2018 - Jun. 18-22 - Developed and taught a 40-hour hands-on course on hybrid and electric vehicles. The students were automotive teachers from high schools, colleges, and universities in Utah who chose to participate in the Talent Ready Utah grant program through WSU. Each participating school received funds to purchase a hybrid or electric vehicle for their school's automotive program and training on that vehicle. The research and development of this course took 15 months and covered eight different hybrid and electric vehicle systems. Thank you to our department chairman, Scott Hadzik, for putting together a great grant proposal and following through on this great opportunity for everyone involved.
