My name is Dimitare Tatchukov, and I'm from Seattle, Washington.
I'm in the automotive tech program here at Weber State University. I've always been into cars, and when I graduated high school, I didn't have a definite plan of where I was going to go. My professor introduced me to the program at Weber State University. After doing some research, I found out Weber State was one of the top schools to get a four-year automotive technology degree.
With a four-year degree, you have almost unlimited industry growth, employment opportunities, corporate and independent businesses, to be in that management position or in a product engineering position. What drew me to Weber was the success of the previous graduates. Manufacturers come to Weber State to recruit us. A lot of students here would get invited to do internships and after their internships, many of them get full-time positions when they graduate.
