    • Description: A BTS Arts Educator will work with South Clearfield Elementary to provide arts-rich integrated lessons bringing together skills and learning targets in both the art form and other classroom content such as math, ELA, science, social studies, and SEL.
    • Type: Part-Time
    • Requirements: Develop and teach arts-rich integrated lessons with other classroom subjects for K-6 grade levels. Work collaboratively with teachers and administration to bring meaningful arts experiences to the school. Serve on the school wide arts team.

    • Description: Arts Specialists provide exemplary arts instruction—teaching side-by-side with the classroom teachers—that is integrated into the core curriculum as part of the statewide BTS Arts The program operates under the direction of the Utah State Office of Education through legislative funding.
    • Type: Part-Time - This position is for 4 hours per day, 9 months per year.
    • Requirements: BTS Arts Specialists must be licensed educators with the corresponding art form endorsement. The specialist must either hold a secondary license and a K-12 endorsement in the art form, or an elementary license with an Elementary Level 2 Art form endorsement, or have a secondary or elementary license and qualify for a State Approved Endorsement Plan (SAEP) in the art form, or qualify for Alternative Route to Licensure.

  • Beverley Taylor Sorenson Elementary Visual Arts Teacher

    • Description:  This is a Beverly Taylor Sorenson Learning Arts Program position for elementary visual arts. The teacher will be responsible for teaching at two to four schools per year, kindergarten through 6th grade students. Prepare integrated lessons based on the arts standards and other core subject areas such as math, literacy, science, and social studies. Collaborate with grade level teams to connect with student learning in other subject areas.

      • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
      • Meet professional teacher education requirements of school, district, state
      • Single subject teaching credential or certification if teaching a specialized subject
