You can use your P-Card to make the purchase. Please contact the Director of Academic Finance and Administration to obtain the index assigned to your award. You will use the index to allocate expenses, in Concur, against your remaining award balance. Refer to the Purchasing website for more information.

Refer to the Purchasing website or contact them to determine when to request bids. To process a requisition in PAW Place, you can request to charge the award amount to the award.

If your award will cover the cost of the purchase, please assign your cart to the Director of Academic Finance and Administration. The Director will enter the award index and approve the requisition. If your award amount is less than the total cost of the purchase, please split the cost between a department index and your award. Assign the cart to the Director, who will provide the award index and approve the requisition.

Contact the Director of Academic Finance and Administration for the appropriate index to charge. Please be sure to send all copies of receipts.

Have your department administrative assistant prepare a PAR (payroll action request form). Your department administrative assistant should contact the Director of Academic Finance and Administration for the appropriate index to put on the PAR. Sign the PAR as the supervisor and then send the PAR to the Director of Academic Finance and Administration for second-level approval.

Use the Individual Payment Form in PAW Place (your department administrative assistant can do this). You can contact the Director of Academic Finance and Administration for the index assigned to the award and then assign them to the cart. Be sure to send the applicable paperwork to Purchasing.

Follow the above-mentioned process, and inform the student that they must also go to payroll (MA 111) and complete the required payroll forms. Sign the PAR (payroll action request form) as the supervisor and send it to the Director of Academic Finance and Administration for second-level approval.

Process through PAW Place and then assign the cart to the Director of Academic Finance and Administration to input the accounting information.
