Trina Limpert to share insight on effective leadership
OGDEN, Utah — Weber State University’s Walker Institute of Politics & Public Service will host local business leader Trina Celeste Limpert on Nov. 14 at noon in Lindquist Hall’s Haven J. Barlow Lecture Hall Room 101.
Limpert’s address, titled “Women in Public Service and Technology: Shaping Workforce Transformation and Civic Engagement,” will explore practical ways to get involved and contribute to a more innovative future for the state of Utah. This event is free to attend.
Limpert is the CEO of RizeNet, a business strategy consulting company. She also founded Tech-Moms, a nonprofit organization aimed at empowering women to re-enter the workforce or transition into higher-paying technology roles.
She was named one of Utah’s “40 Over 40” in 2023 and has received multiple honors from Utah Business, being named in the publication’s “30 Women to Watch” in 2020 and “Most Influential Women” in 2024.
“It is so important to have voices on campus that speak to different domains of expertise,” said Leah Murray, director of the Walker Institute. “Trina Limpert is an expert in business, and thinking about having your skills be domain-transferable. Her message will be an important one for students to hear.”
