The WOCC prioritizes the needs of women of color by advocating, directing resources, critically analyzing structures, promoting the advancement of women of color in the workplace, providing spaces for authenticity and safety, and building a network of peers to confide in and create a sense of belonging. Interested in being a part of WOCC and running for these positions? Chair
The chair serves as the primary representative of WOCC. They preside over team and member meetings, maintain a relationship with other departments and manage all WOCC funds.

Vice Chair
The vice chair helps ensure the board functions effectively, and leads efforts to connect with other campus and community organizations. They also research campus policies and practices that may adversely impact women of color.

Secretary
The secretary is responsible for documenting the coalition’s activities, maintaining records and preparing internal and external communications

Herstorian
The herstorian collects and archives all WOCC related materials, manages social media platforms and maintains the organization’s website.

Event & Development Coordinator
The event & development coordinator plans and executes social events on behalf of WOCC each semester and oversees event committees.
