About Learning Support
Our Mission
Weber State Learning Support empowers students and develops leaders. Learning Support consists of Academic Peer Coaching, Supplemental Instruction, Learning Assistants, and seven tutoring centers/labs. Students work in Learning Support as tutors, SI Leaders, Learning Assistants, and Coaches. Learning Support strives to strengthen academic performance and persistence of all students through peer-led academic support, high quality training and certification for student employees, and innovative collaborations with other departments/divisions. We empower students to solidify their educational foundation, recognize their potential, and develop transferable skills. Additionally, we build relationships with university departments/divisions to foster a collaborative and holistic approach to student support.
