How agility leads Weber State to successful partnerships
Through recent collaborations with clients such as SEG Inc. (Utah Jazz & Utah Hockey Club) and Lifetime, our division has had the opportunity to build professional development programs tailored to individual industries.
SEG Inc. (Utah Jazz and Utah Hockey Club), contacted our business development team to create customized professional development training aligned with industry requirements. “We are grateful to Weber State University Continuing Education for stepping up and delivering such an impactful training session on short notice,” Cari Southwick, director of Risk Management and Training for the Utah Jazz said.
With the ability to quickly adapt to various industry needs, our business development team is a force in a consistently evolving market.
Lifetime Products Inc. is a product development company that aims to bring durable, lasting products to buyers from basketball hoops to folding tables. Seeing a need for certification in supply-chain management, Lifetime reached out to Weber State to create a program designed with their employees’ futures in mind. With the help of industry expert and Weber State instructor Bill Webb, our business development team created a course that taught students the foundations of effective supply-chain management, setting them up for future success.
At Weber State's Division of Online & Continuing Education, part of our vision is to be a trusted industry and student partner that makes personal, professional and educational goals a reality. Not only does our division work to be agile when it comes to program development, but we also understand the impact this access to education has on those who receive it.
