In This Issue: Project Partnerships

I love it when organizations team up to educate people. Such is the case this fall, when WSU’s Division of Online & Continuing Education will launch a big collaborative effort with local project management experts, Petersen Training. 

Petersen was started by Dr. Denis Petersen in an effort to bring quality, comprehensive project management and leadership training to Utah and beyond. He has plenty of experience working with the military and in industry, and we’ll talk about him and his company’s history in this issue of The Spark. 

Also in this issue, we’re going to detail that Petersen partnership and explain how you’ll benefit. We’ll explain the Advanced Project Management Certificate and how it goes well beyond taking the Project Management Professional^® exam to create truly equipped project managers. 

We’ll also share a podcast we recorded with noted meetings expert Dr. Joe Allen. You might remember him from the previous issue. This time, we visit with him about making hybrid meetings stand out.

Finally, we’ll be introducing a new monthly feature: a snap poll. This month, we're asking you to tell us what trainings are most needed in your organization.
