What is SAT?
SAT I and SAT II Tests are entrance exams that are used at many colleges and universities. Students applying to WSU who have not taken an entrance exam should take the ACT. However, SAT scores are accepted at WSU.
The SAT I is a three-hour test, primarily multiple-choice, that measures verbal and mathematical reasoning abilities.
The SAT II Subject Tests are one-hour, primarily multiple-choice tests in specific subjects.
At most schools, only the SAT I is required. The SAT II is sometimes required or recommended for placement purposes or for admission into specific programs.
