Outstanding Awards

The Outstanding Awards celebrate exceptional contributions to undergraduate research across three categories:

Outstanding Student Researcher Award: This award honors students who prioritize research and demonstrate a strong work ethic, positive attitude, academic skills, ability, perceptiveness, and self-discipline. Recipients are advocates for undergraduate research, evidenced by their presentations, publications, exhibits, and performances.

  2. Outstanding Mentor Award: This award recognizes excellence among mentors who guide undergraduate researchers. An outstanding mentor is accessible, listens well, and encourages students toward independence and excellence. Their expertise is demonstrated through their own presentations, publications, exhibits, and performances.

  3. Outstanding Team Collaboration Award: This award acknowledges student teams that excel in undergraduate research. These teams prioritize research, exhibit a strong work ethic, and demonstrate outstanding collaboration skills. They advocate for undergraduate research through their collective presentations, publications, exhibits, and performances.
