Studying Full Stack Web Development at Weber State

Weber State’s full stack web development emphasis program involves building modern secure web applications end to end, using web standards and state of the art languages, frameworks and tools.

Full Stack Web Development Highlights

Students of this emphasis will learn the latest client and server-side programming languages and frameworks incorporating responsive and accessible web design, as well as database integration and multimedia creation and editing tools.

Graduates of this emphasis will be able to work as full-stack, front-end, and/or back-end web developers.

Beyond the Classroom

Students of this emphasis gain practical experience through internships, working with community partners, including nonprofit organizations, to build, test and maintain web applications.

What You’ll LEARN at Weber

The first two years of the program focus on front-end web design and development stack, basic coding languages and other fundamentals for creating responsive and accessible great-looking web pages.

As you go on to earn your bachelor’s degree with this emphasis, you’ll learn back-end web development. You will also learn full stack web development stack in which both front-end and back-end are brought together and powered by databases and api services.

What You CAN DO After Weber
