Family Studies at Weber State
Weber State University’s family studies degree teaches caring, patient students how to make a difference by helping families address complex issues as family life educators.
Family Studies Highlights
Weber State’s Child & Family Studies Student Association allows you to make friends, network with industry professionals and get more involved in your major.
We offer family studies courses at WSU's Ogden and Davis campuses, and Davis High School, along with courses combining face-to-face instruction and online learning.
Beyond the Classroom
Every year, Weber State hosts the Families Alive Conference, where you can network and join workshops to learn ways to enhance the lives of families.
Becky Watson
Class of 2024
"My favorite opportunities within the (Child & Family Studies) department that have helped me gain confidence have been those that have taken me outside my comfort zone and challenged me. The classes within this program are fascinating, the professors and advisors are exceptional and the other students that I have met have made it all the sweeter."
