Nick Rice is the Industrial Hygiene Director for Intermountain Healthcare in Salt Lake City, Utah and has over 20 years of experience in environmental health and exposure science. He is a board Certified Industrial Hygienist and Certified Safety Professional with a bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Industrial Hygiene from Utah State University and a Master of Science in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene from the University of Utah School of Medicine.  Nick is active in the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) and has served as Chair of the AIHA Healthcare Working Group, Chair of the Joint Industrial Hygiene Ethics Education Committee, and President of the Utah Local Section. Nick’s expertise is in the assessment and control of chemical, physical, and biological agents. Nick has a special interest in human exposure in the built environment, indoor air quality, ventilation controls, and environmental infection control.
