David Eckels (he/him) is Vice President of Products at Merge Electric Fleet Solutions. Merge provides comprehensive fleet electrification services from planning and analysis to deployment and operations, including fleet as a service and charging as a service. Prior to Merge, David was a founding partner of Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Advisors LLC (EVIA), a consulting firm specializing in planning and deploying EV charging infrastructure nationwide. EVIA has served clients in sectors including public charging networks, automotive, utility, real estate, city, county, and state government. Before founding EVIA, David joined NRG EVgo to launch the first public fast-charge network in Utah, then managed business development and construction across the Western U.S., including metro and corridor programs in Colorado, Washington, Oregon, and California. David has led the deployment of thousands of DC fast and Level II chargers coast-to-coast including public, workplace, multifamily, and fleet. David holds an Honors BA in Anthropology from Dartmouth College.
