Angela Choberka (she/her), MA, MPhil, is the SelectHealth Member Equity Consultant working to help build strategy to address disparities in outcome and experience for over 1 Million members across Utah, Idaho, and Nevada. She previously served as the project lead for the Alliance for Determinants of Health demonstration in Weber County for Intermountain Healthcare. She is passionate about systems change and has also helped with community efforts to address education disparities. Angela began her career as a teacher of elementary-aged and college students. She currently serves on the Ogden City Council, the MLK Jr. Human Rights Commission, Weber Morgan Board of Health, and other community-led groups. Angela began serving as Vice Chair and representative for Ogden City on the Community Renewable Energy Agency at its inception.
