Donna Matturro McAleer is the Executive Director of the Bicycle Collective, a Utah nonprofit whose mission is to promote cycling as an effective, sustainable & affordable form of transportation & recreation, and as a cornerstone of a cleaner, healthier, and safer society. Donna is a West Point graduate and holds an MBA from the Darden School. As a former US Army Officer, she served in a variety of leadership roles stateside and in Germany. In 2013, Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta appointed her to serve on the Defense Advisory Council for Women in the Service to provide advice and recommendations on matters and policies relating to the recruitment and retention, treatment, integration, and well-being of military women. Donna is an award-winning author of "Porcelain on Steel: Women of West Point's Long Gray Line”. An avid outdoor enthusiast, Donna teaches alpine skiing at Deer Valley enjoying anything outside -- skiing, mountain biking, road cycling, hiking, camping, and traveling.
