Proof of Citizenship/Lawful Presence

WSU is required to verify your lawful presence in the United States before any scholarship funds can be released.
To verify, you can either:

• Submit a completed FAFSA application to the Department of Education (go to fafsa.ed.gov), or
• Bring one of the following documents to the Financial Aid & Scholarship Office:
  • Utah Drivers license issued after Jan. 1, 2010
  • Original copy of birth certificate
  • Permanent Resident Card
  • U.S. passport
  • Consular Report of Birth Abroad (Form FS-240)
  • Certificate of Citizenship (N-560 or N-561)
  • Certificate of Naturalization (N-550 or N-570)
