FYE Course Offerings

FYE welcomes all students and is dedicated to fostering a supportive environment to empower them to navigate barriers and challenges, access resources for academic and personal growth, and develop leadership skills for success beyond the classroom. FYE Outdoor Experience

Interested in taking this class outdoors? Learn more about our FYE Outdoor Experience. Pair FYE 1105: Foundations of College Success with OCRE 2610: Intro to Outdoor Living Skills. You’ll attend both classes with the same students, and your instructors will collaborate to establish a supportive learning community. Only 12 spots available, so register now using both of the CRNs 23206 and 20130!

FYE Fitness Experience

The FYE Fitness Experience is for students who want to exercise their bodies while they exercise their minds! Pair FYE 1105: Foundations of College Success with PE 1098: Fitness for Life. You'll attend both classes with the same students and instructor, who is also a physical trainer. You'll also be able to learn about WSU's state-of-the-art gym! Only 15 spots available, so register now using both of the CRNs 24301 and 25218.

FYE Honors

Are you academically adventurous and intellectually curious? Take FYE 1105 as an innovative Honors course that explores creative and intellectual thinking through discussion-led classes where students take leadership over their own learning. Join a community of scholars and explore your full intellectual, academic, and cultural potential in FYE Honors.

College of Science FYE Classes

This class is for students interested in majoring in any of the subjects housed within the College of Science (COS). Taking this COS specific FYE 1105 course will help students majoring in a science field learn more about their major, learn about the resources housed within their college, and give them access to advisors and leaders in their area of study. This class is for students interested in majoring in any of the subjects housed within the Goddard School of Business and Economics (GSBE).
