  • Banners (Facility Use Policy 7.1)

    • Banners are allowed for WSU events happening in the union. The banner may be taken to the SEC office (SU302) no more than 48 hours before the date the banner will be put up. The banner must be signed in at the office when dropped off. The banner may be up for 2 weeks or the event date whichever is shorter. You are responsible for picking up your banner within 48 hours of it coming down. Paper banners will be thrown away unless marked for pick up.

  • Bulletin boards (Facility Use Policy 7.2 & 7.5)

    • Any items posted to the bulletin boards within the Shepherd Union building and on the Weber State University campus must follow the posting policy. All fliers must be respected and not covered by other fliers. Fliers must not be removed from the bulletin boards unless the event date advertised has passed. Only push pins may be used to hang materials, no staples or adhesive of any kind. 

  • Digital Signage (Facility Use Policy 7.3)

    • Only open to events produced and for the WSU population. Email a high resolution, widescreen, landscape jpeg (16:9; 1920x1080) to unionscheduling@weber.edu. The image will stay on the screens for two weeks or the event, whichever is shorter.

  • A-frames (Facility Use Policy 7.4)

    • A-Frame Location Map

    • A-frame must be pre-arranged through the SEC office 14 days in advance and are only allowed in certain areas to not impede foot traffic. If an a-frame is placed in the wrong area or has not been scheduled in advance, it will be removed. 

• Copyright Information

  • No activity in the Union fits into the education exemption. If you are going to show any kind of movie or show, you must have the copyright on file with the SEC office.

  1. Faculty and staff may request an individual account by visiting the room reservation web page. Registered clubs may have one account under the email registered with the SIL office.

  • Off-Campus groups are not allowed to bring food from off-campus. Any food and/or drink must be arranged through Weber Dining.

Furniture

All office furniture is owned by the Union. Permission must be granted to remove it. Please contact the Union Admin office before scheduling pick up with FM through Property Control.
