VPN

Desktop Install - Windows (XP,Vista, 7), MacOS X, Linux

OS Requirements:

  • Windows support is XP, Vista, 7. 64-bit and 32-bit. (Firefox, Internet Explorer 7+, Chrome doesn't work)
  • MacOS 10.4 or greater. 

Instructions:

  1. Visit https://vpn.weber.edu from off campus.(Chrome doesn't work with this site. Use Firefox or Internet Explorer)
  2. Login with your WSU eWeber username and password.
  3. Follow on screen instructions to finish install.
  4. After install if you are presented with a window asking for a server entry use vpn.weber.edu. 

Mobile Device Install

iPhone and iPad

  1. From the iTunes store download the Cisco AnyConnect application.
  2. Open AnyConnect client Tap "Add New VPN Connection..."
  3. Tap "Server Address". Use vpn.weber.edu as the server address. Press ok then done.
  4. Tap on the new connection to connect. You will be prompted to enter your eWeber credentials to connect.  

Alternate Install

The Cisco AnyConnect application above will give the best user experience. If the phone is too old to support Cisco AnyConnect use these instructions below.

  1. From your iPhone or iPad click this link.
  2. When prompted tap the install button.
  3. You will be prompted to enter your WSU eWeber user name and password.

Android

VPN not supported on all Android devices. You must have Android version 4.0 or greater installed for Cisco AnyConnect to work.

  1. Download the Cisco AnyConnect client from Google Play.
  2. Open AnyConnect client Tap "Add New VPN Connection..."
  3. Tap "Server Address". Use vpn.weber.edu as the server address. Press ok then done.
  4. Tap on the new connection to connect. You will be prompted to enter your eWeber credentials to connect.
