Skill Development Guide
Each of the APEX activities have been selected to assist you with developing your career readiness skills. This Skill Development Guide provides suggestions for the skills you may gain during a given activity, but you are encouraged to analyze your own experience and identify which skills you personally learned and applied. If there is a specific skill you are trying to grow, you may also use this list to select a suggested activity.
Skills have not been identified for the Education section because skill acquisition and development depends on the course that is selected. As you reflect on your coursework, identify what you have personally learned and articulate that experience in your ePortfolio. (See the Activities tab and ePortfolio example for more information and ideas.) Skills learned through coursework are valuable and transferable to the workplace, and can be included on your resume and discussed in job interviews.
