All scholarship applications must be submitted online through your student portal. If you qualify for any of the following scholarships, make sure to state the name of the scholarship/s in your essay.
Jane Breen Holmes Scholarship
Applicants must be a single parent, with custody of their children and a full-time student with a 3.0 GPA. This is a cash award.
Sue Westenskow Scholarship/Women in Business
The scholarship recipient must have demonstrated financial need, academic achievement and provide a written essay explaining why they should be considered for scholarship assistance.
Waterstradt Scholarship
Applicants must be a full-time, junior or senior female student, age 25 or older, with a declared major, have a 3.0 GPA, and be a resident of Weber, Box Elder, or Morgan counties. Excluded majors include: business, physical education, and nursing. This is a cash award.
Additional Funding
Women's Center Semester Grants
Students must be 20 years of age or older, a single mother or father, a full-time student with a GPA of 3.0, and have completed 24 credit hours at the end of spring semester. Additional considerations include community and volunteer service. Students must be a resident of Utah and a U.S. citizen. Applications are available in January. Apply through the Scholarship Office. Award must be used for tuition.
Women's Center Activity Fellowships
Students must be a full-time student with a 2.5 GPA, completed at least 12 credit hours at the time of application, and would need to be available to work 12 hours per week in the Women’s Center. Students must be a resident of Utah and a U.S. citizen. This is a tuition waiver.
