From Monica - "The garden was established in May 2011. We missed the opportunity to get student participation last year, so we built the garden and I farmed it myself. We took everything to Community Action Partnership. It's an Ogden food bank. This year (2012) however, we have 18 students/faculty participating. We meet 2x/wk to plant, weed, water and harvest. We are running it as a cooperative though. So we all decided what we wanted to plant and we just planted it. We will divide it up among those who show up the week we harvest. This means we don't have individual plots this year. But this also allows us to have 3 part time people who will be interning over the summer participate when they are here. If they aren't home on a week they don't receive produce. We do have 12 plots that we are farming. A 13th plot is our perennial herb garden. There are also fruit trees and a walnut tree in the yard we will be harvesting as well. I am not sure what else there is to say. If you have anymore questions, please do not hesitate to ask! I love love love to talk about our garden!!!!!"
