Weber State University has officially launched the search for its next president. Shaped by the voices of students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members, the WSU Presidential Search Committee has incorporated valuable feedback into the leadership profile. The official job posting is included in this leadership profile, which will guide the committee and the Utah Board of Higher Education in reviewing applicants and selecting WSU’s new leader. Timeline

February 2026 — Job posting is published and qualified candidates may begin submitting applications as of Feb. 2. (Candidate applications and information are confidential.)

January 2026 — The search committee hosts two public input sessions to help shape the presidential leadership profile, which guides the committee in reviewing and evaluating candidates.

November 2025 — The Utah Board of Higher Education appointed the Weber State Presidential Search Committee
