Physics Clubs and Organizations

Physics Club:

The Physics Club is the largest of our student organizations.  Many students who do not belong to SPS belong to the Physics Club.  Physics Club activities include movie nights, at home and in the planetarium, pumpkin smashes, and the annual charity Christmas tree.  Membership in the physics club is free.

SPS is an excellent opportunity for students to get together to discuss their interests in physics and astronomy, and to form close friendships. Recent activities of our local chapter have included:

  • Attending, sponsoring and leading seminars related to topics in physics and astronomy
  • Taking tours of local industries that employ physics majors
  • Serving as study groups
  • PARTIES!
