The free WSU conference shuttle service will serve all hotels and motels listed on the NCUR 2012 Lodging page.
Those staying in other lodgings will need to make their own arrangements. Northern Utah has an excellent public transportation system. Details available at: Ride UTA.
We encourage the use of the conference shuttle service and UTA to help protect the environment and to minimize parking congestion on campus.

Public Transportation : UTA (Utah transit Authority)
Utah’s commuter rail line, Frontrunner, connects Salt Lake, Davis and Weber counties with stations in Salt Lake City, Woods Cross, Farmington, Layton, Clearfield, Roy, and Ogden. Each station has connections to UTA’s bus system, plus Trax (light rail) in Salt Lake. There are park and ride lots at each station. Frontrunner is a push/pull diesel locomotive system complete with bi-level cab cars and refurbished single-level vehicles. FrontRunner can travel up to 79 miles per hour along the 44-mile corridor.
All Frontrunner cars have free wireless.

Parking:
Wednesday – Friday:
Free parking is available at the Dee Event Center (4450 Harrison Blvd. Ogden, UT 84408 – south side). The entrance to this parking lot is off of 4600 south. Directions and a map are available here.
Shuttles run from the Dee Events Center to the WSU campus every 20 min. The drop-off/pick-up point on the WSU campus is on the south side of the Stewart Library, next to the loading dock.
Saturday:
FREE PARKING ON CAMPUS ON SATURDAY March 31, 2012. There will be no shuttles running from the Dee Event Center.
Chartered Buses:
Bus drop off/pick up on the WSU campus is at the Browning center. There is a turn out and it is easy for buses to come in and drop off their students. Parking for chartered buses will be at the Dee Event Center, northeast side (see parking).
