*Offered to WSU students and faculty/staff only

Budgeting/Cash Flow

Know how much you spend and what you spend it on is important. The Money Management Center can work with you one-on-one to set up a budget. We will look at how much money you have coming in (loans, job, family support) and help you track the money you are spending and help you make a plan to spend less than you make.

Saving

We never know what will happen in life. It is important to have money saved for unexpected expenses and important to save for large ticket items like buying a car or house.

Investing/Wealth Building

You have a budget, you’ve saved up some money, but you think burying it in the back yard is not the best idea. One of our coaches can sit down with you personally and discuss investment options for your money. We can also help you design a plan for establishing savings for the future.

Student Loans and Paying for College

The Money Management Center can help you understand your student loans and design a long term plan for completing your education. We can also review with you a plan to pay off your student loans after college. NOTE: The Financial Aid office on campus is the primary place to gain information about your student loans and they are a better resource for specific loan questions. The Money Management Center can help more broadly regarding student loan help.

FAFSA

FAFSA can be confusing, overwhelming, and frustrating. We can help you with the process and explain details that may be unclear. There are many things that you will need in order to complete the FAFSA and a complete list, as well as definitions and explanations, or you can refer to our condensed list. If you have any questions please call our office.
