Internships

The Political Science Department offers a variety of internships for students to learn what careers need a political science degree. These opportunities allow students to get hands on experience in the political world. We have internships in the Ogden City Mayor's office, in the Utah State Legislature, in the United States Senate and the House of Representatives as well as county attorneys' offices, lobbying groups and campaigns.

Pi Sigma Alpha

Pi Sigma Alpha is the national honors fraternity in political science. Students are offered an opportunity to apply to be in the national fraternity or to experience the community of the department by joining Weber State University's local chapter. This organization allows students to network and develop programming for the Political Science Department.

WSU College Democrats

The Weber State University College Democrats is made up of students interested in promoting the Democratic Party on campus as well as in the community. We are actively involved with the Weber County Democrats. In order to promote a better America, with equality, opportunity, and freedom within a just and strong society. We dedicate ourselves to organizing the participation of Democratic college students at Weber State University.
