For the Political Science Department I am the point of contact for a number of student organizations as well as for information about internship placement both nationally and locally. Joining organizations while in university is a good idea for students seeking to network and bolster their resumes. Doing an internship is an excellent way to get your foot in the door when looking for jobs after university.
