Congratulations! You’re making progress toward your degree at WSU. We suggest you talk with your academic advisor regularly.  Your academic department should be contacted the semester before you anticipate graduating.

You are responsible for verifying your major, emphasis, and minor. Please check CatTracks  for your current information. If there is a problem, your advisor will be able to assist you.

Graduation Application Instructions
1. Schedule an appointment with your major/minor advisor. Contact your advisor well in advance of the application deadline (deadline dates are located in the green box) and inform your advisor that the purpose of your appointment is for graduation clearance.

2. Meet with your major/minor advisor. Your advisor will review your major/minor requirements and electronically submit a major/minor clearance to the Graduation Office. Your major advisor or other designee will also review your general education/university requirements and electronically submit the appropriate clearances to the Graduation Office. Note: All clearances must be electronically submitted to the graduation office before your degree can be posted to your transcript.

3. Complete the Graduation Application (located within the 'Applications' link on the left purple bar).

4. Take your completed application to the Cashier’s Office (SC 209) and pay the application fee-there is a one-time non-refundable fee for each degree.

5. Submit your application to the Registrar's Solution Center (SC 101) by the schedule of deadlines listed in the green box.  Applications can also be mailed to the address found at the top of the application. Applications received with incomplete information or without the graduation fee will be returned to the student unprocessed.

Failure to follow the above instructions and obtain the necessary clearances will delay the awarding of your degree.
