In partnership with 26 other campus departments, we offer a truly interdisciplinary major tailored to meet a wide variety of career and graduate school interests.

You will have many opportunities to become involved in the department through student organizations and special study and research with the faculty. Our forensics team, journalists, public relations specialists, radio station and television news teams have been nationally recognized, and our students do challenging work for many organizations through internships.

These experiences provide you with opportunities to apply the theory and skills gained through course work and give you an advantage on future jobs and graduate programs.
