Uinta Mountains

The annual field trip to the Uinta Mountains takes place in September.  The trip is open to any student enrolled in a Botany class.  Students in Botany General Education courses (LS1203, LS1303, LS1403) are strongly encouraged to participate.  Information about the field trip can be found at the Uinta Mountains Field Trip Home Page

Antelope Island State Park

The annual field trip to Antelope Island State Park takes place in April.  The trip is open to any student enrolled in a Botany class.  Students in Botany General Education courses (LS1203, LS1303, LS1403) are strongly encouraged to participate.  Information about the field trip can be found at the Antelope Island Field Trip Home Page.

Botany 2950 - Elementary Field Botany and Botany 4950 - Advanced Field Botany

Botany 2950 and 4950 are offered in the Spring Semester.  Students in the two courses take an extended joint field trip to southern Utah.  

 As a botany student, you'll have the chance to go on regular field trips to amazing wilderness areas that are all within a few hours drive of campus.
