Get Out of the House with WSU Snow Days

OGDEN, Utah – Weber State University’s Department of Visual Arts and Mary Elizabeth Dee Shaw Gallery invite families to participate in “Snow Days,” on Dec. 1, Feb. 2, and March 2 at 10 a.m. to noon in the Kimball Visual Arts Center Lobby.

Snow Days are an opportunity for families to tour the gallery and create arts and crafts projects together. The events will have both English-speaking and Spanish-speaking instructors in order to provide a rich, multicultural art experience.

“Kids and parents feel cooped up during the winter,” said Lydia Gravis, Visual Arts Outreach coordinator, “This is a great opportunity to get out of the house on Saturday morning and engage in something creative for a couple hours.”

Snow Days are free and open to the public and geared to children of all ages.
